Kulmia complies with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Data is stored securely and used only for the requested business audit. Our registered office is located at 520 Village On The Green NW, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada T5A 1H2.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit a request through our lead capture form, we collect your name, phone number, company website, estimated lead volume, current tracking system, and the type of service you are interested in. We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or sensitive personal data through our lead forms.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to contact you regarding your service inquiry and to prepare a bespoke professional audit. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. All commercial electronic messages (CEMs) are sent in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest using AES-256. Our database infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2-compliant servers (Supabase). We implement Row-Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure your data is accessible only to authorized Kulmia personnel. No unencrypted copies of your data are stored or transmitted.
4. Alberta PIPA & PIPEDA Compliance
Kulmia operates in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and is subject to Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, SA 2003, c P-6.5) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect only the minimum personal information necessary for the stated purpose, obtain implied or express consent at the point of collection, and honour all requests to access, correct, or delete your personal data. 5. GDPR & CCPA
For clients or contacts located in the European Economic Area or California, we additionally comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You have the right to data portability, erasure, and the right to object to processing. Submit requests to privacy@kulmia.ca.
6. Data Retention
We retain your contact information for up to 12 months from the date of collection, or until you request its deletion. After this period, data is permanently and irreversibly removed from all systems.
7. Cookies
Our website uses minimal session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
